The annual series of the International Workshop on Vertex Detectors (VERTEX) is an international forum with the aim of reviewing the recent, the ongoing, and the future activities on silicon based vertex detectors, covering a wide range of topics: existing and future detectors, new developments, radiation hardness, simulation, tracking alignment, electronics and triggering, applications to medical and other fields.
