Description
We study a subclass of GLPV modified gravity theories generated by a general disformal metric $\bar g_{\mu\nu} = g_{\mu\nu} + D(\phi,\partial \phi) \partial_\mu\phi \partial_\nu \phi$. By solving the background evolution equation, we found that such theory cannot provide the self-accelerating solution.
