We will be lodged in Residencia Galdos, a modern and comfortable university hall of residence in the heart of Madrid's student area.

Students will be sleeping in shared rooms (twins or triples).
The School lectures will be take place at the Montegancedo Campus of the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid
We will provide all transport between the campus, accommodation and all other offsite excursions.

You should arrive at Residencia Galdos for registration during the afternoon or early evening of Sunday 27 August 2017.
You are responsible for organising your own travel to CSC 2017, as the School does not organize travel tickets for participants. The travel cost to and from the School is not included in the school fee.
It is your responsibility to obtain any visa that may be required in order for you to travel to the venue in Spain and participate in the School. If you need a visa then that is a cost you will be required to pay. The organisers will not pay for individuals’ visa application costs, whether or not the application is successful, nor is this cost that has been factored in to the participation fee.
If you require a visa, please contact the organisers of the School without delay at computing.school@cern.ch, so that a letter of invitation may be organised by UPM as the host institute in Spain. Without such a letter, you may not be able to apply for a visa successfully.
