We will provide all transport during the School (between the accommodation, TAU campus, and all other offsite excursions) - but not before or after the School.
If you have any accessibility requirements, please e-mail us on Computing.School@cern.ch and we will be in touch to discuss options.
You should arrive at Bnei Dan for registration during the afternoon or early evening of Monday 1 October 2018.
You are responsible for organising your own travel to CSC 2018, as the School does not organize travel tickets for participants. The travel cost to and from the School is not included in the school fee.
Once your application is accepted and you get an Invitation Letter, we strongly encourage you to make your travel arrangements without delay, as plane tickets to Tel Aviv during this period risk getting expensive if you wait too long.
It is your responsibility to obtain any visa that may be required in order for you to travel to Israel and participate in the School. If you need a visa then that is a cost you will be required to pay. The organisers will not pay for individuals’ visa application costs, whether or not the application is successful, nor is this cost that has been factored in to the participation fee.
If you require a visa to enter Israel, please contact the organisers of the School without delay at Computing.School@cern.ch, so that a Letter of Invitation may be organised by Tel Aviv University as the host institute in Israel. Without such a letter, you may not be able to apply for a visa successfully.
