JINR Summer Students Program 2018.

Joint Institute for Nuclear Research (JINR) is an international intergovernmental scientific research organization located in Dubna, Moscow region, Russia, where fundamental research is successfully integrated with new technology development and educational programs. JINR comprises seven Laboratories, each being comparable with a large institute in the scale and scope of investigations conducted. The main fields of JINR's activity are theoretical and experimental studies in elementary particle physics, nuclear physics, and condensed matter physics.

About the Program

The Summer Student Program at JINR will be organized in the form of student research projects done in scientific groups. The Program will last 6 - 8 weeks during the period from July 1 to September 30 Application deadline is March 31, 2018, at students.jinr.ru

Financial support

Free accommodation will be provided in a hostel located not far from JINR. Travel expenses and daily allowance will be covered.

Participants

Participants in the Program may be students finishing the third year of bachelor studies, master students or PhD students enrolled in the first year of graduate school. Participants must submit their candidacy in accordance with the Organizer's requirements !!!

Program participants will be selected on a competitive basis.
