Slow Control System 18

The goal of the Slow Control System 2018
is to implement real (physical) electronic circuits built by the Slow Control System for the MPD-NICA detector. Students supervised by experts (Supervisor's) will perform advanced electronic systems that are part of the Slow Control System for MPD-NICA. They will program these systems in NI LabView, perform their tests and measurements.
Each Student will make a final presentation, which will be the basis of his / her lecture passing the practice during the seminar ending the Internship, in one of its final days - presumably 20 or 21 July 2018. The language of instruction during the seminar is English.

Practically every day of Internships
we start with a lecture... Their aim is to introduce them to the issues we deal with in JINR within the theme of Slow Control for MPD NICA, to organize and consolidate this knowledge, and to provide Apprentices with a minimum of engineering and technical knowledge, including health and safety regulations.

Apprentices will take part in several scientific excursions,
It is planned in JINR Laboratories. The aim of these classes is to get to know the research capabilities of the Institute, applied solutions and technologies, and to familiarize Interns with practical knowledge of what are major research projects in high energy physics.

Apprentices will take part in several trips around Russia.
It is planned to include trip to Moscow, the capital of the Russian Federation. We plan to visit there, among others Cities and the Kremlin. Other trips are also planned, usually as "weekend" activities combining sightseeing with integration in the Group. Traditionally, in the program for groups from Poland, there is a trip to Tver and Miednoje, as places to kill Poles (officers, intelligentsia and officials) captured in September 1939, then murdered in Tver and buried in Miednoje. Some find their relatives here ...
