Description

The Annual US LHC Users Association Meeting will be held Tuesday - Thursday October 15-17, 2019, with gratitude to Rice University for hosting us. On Tuesday evening we will organize a social gathering in the vicinity of the university for early arrivals. The main sessions will be on Wednesday and Thursday.
As always, we will have presentations on recent results, a review of the successful trip to Washington DC, and the latest news from representatives of the DOE and NSF. The "Lightning Round" student talks are judged by a panel of senior researchers, and the best speakers are invited to join us on next Spring's DC trip. We will also have a career panel with members of our field who have moved into teaching, data science, other areas of science and technology, or finance. In addition to the talks there will be many opportunities for structured and unstructured discussion.
