1st DITANET Topical Workshop on Low Current, Low Energy Beam Diagnostics

Europe/Zurich
Andreas Peters (HIT GmbH), Carsten Welsch (Cockcroft Institute of Accelerator Science and Technology), Peter Forck (GSI)
Description
Low energetic ions beam are very attractive for various high precision atomic and solid state physics experiments. The diagnostics for low energetic ion beams are a challenge due to the low energy loss in material and additionally the low currents down to only a few thousand particles per second. The goal of this workshop is to exchanges ideas, to report on recent developments and to communicate experiences investigated at contributing institutes.
