Scientific programme

All scientific sessions at ISMD are in plenary session to encourage cross-talk between areas, organised into the following scientific tracks:

  • Hadron structure
  • Forward and diffractive physics
  • Collectivity and multiple-scattering
  • Jets and QCD at high scales
  • Hadron spectroscopy
  • High-temperature QCD
  • Hadronic issues in heavy-flavour physics
  • Cosmic ray and astrophysics

Poster session and prize

A poster session with a £200 prize is also in operation, with selected poster presenters also having a short "flash talk" in the main plenary in which to present their work and increase engagement.

Conference app

Information about the conference sessions, social media feed, etc. can be handily accessed via the HEPCon app, available for free from the Android and Apple online stores. Start the app, select ISMD2022, and it should all just work! Our thanks to Martin Vassilev for providing this wonderful tool to the community.
