Registration for ISMD 2022 is open, via the registration form for personal details, and the payment of the conference fee only via the University of Edinburgh payment system at https://tinyurl.com/yc52vk9d (or full link). Make sure to complete both forms!
N.B. We have now filled all of our allocated rooms. It may still be possible to reserve a room at Atholl Palace by booking with them directly, or of course you can stay at other accommodation in/near Pitlochry. Please do not pay for accommodation on the link above (the option will shortly be removed).
Fees
Both the conference sessions and the primary accommodation will be held in the Atholl Palace Hotel in Pitlochry.
The rates are as follows:
Conference fee: £300 (covers facilities, lunches, banquet, and social programme)
Main accommodation: £159/night (includes breakfasts and dinners)
Accompanying persons: £60/night (£30/night for children), extra charges for lunches and banquet
Once the Atholl Palace room allocation is full, other accommodation is available a short walk away in Pitlochry town
Attendance support
We are pleased to be able to offer a limited number of travel bursaries to support the attendance of those without personal travel grants, with emphasis on early-career researchers. Please see the dedicated page for full information.
Childcare
Unfortunately the hotel cannot provide childcare cover during the conference, but we understand that many delegates have childcare requirements that influence their attendance.
We have made contact with a childcare group in Pitlochry (https://www.thedenatheartland.com/), who are unable to guarantee availability, but can advise on possibilities.
