Proceedings

We are publishing the ISMD2022 proceedings via the open-science SciPost Physics Proceedings e-journal. For this, primary submissions go direct to the arXiv, and are then referred from there into the SciPost reviewing system.

Proceedings contributions are optional, and open to presenters of both talks and posters. To keep the peer-review volume manageable, we will apply "soft" page limits of 5 pages for plenary presentations, and 3 pages for poster presenters at the time of initial submission (corrections may slightly exceed these nominal limits if necessary). Acknowledgements and references do not count toward these page limits. If you exceptionally need more space, please contact the organisers. The deadline for submitting your arXiv preprint to SciPost review is 1 Oct 2022.

The preparation and review process is as follows:

  • First, prepare your proceedings in LaTeX, following the authoring instructions from https://scipost.org/SciPostPhysProc . A special ISMD2022 template is provided at https://scipost.org/SciPostPhysProc.202208001

(Correction: the template files have not yet been uploaded; you can get them for now from https://we.tl/t-ATDgAz4MBy )

  • Submit your proceedings article to arxiv.org (let the ISMD organisers know if you do not have submission rights and cannot find an endorser in your own university).

  • Once the article is visible online at arxiv.org, use the https://scipost.org/SciPostPhysProc page to submit your arXiv article as an ISMD 2022 proceeding for review. "ISMD 2022" should appear as a conference option in the drop-down list.

  • The ISMD organisers will review your proceedings and may suggest improvements. If so, please repeat first the arXiv submission, then update your SciPost review to point at the new arXiv version.

Thank you for taking part! Remember, proceedings must be submitted to SciPost by the start of October.
