We invite you to visit Drievliet amusement park.
Textbook experiments will come to life as the acceleration in drop towers, carousels, swings, and rollercoasters, is felt throughout your body. During the excursion, the experiences of the body will be complemented by observations, discussions in smaller groups and experiments with simple equipment taken along on some of the rides, as well as data collection using your smartphone. The experiments will be introduced during the bus ride by Ann-Marie Pendrill & Jurnan Schilder. A Thursday follow-up session will offer additional opportunities for discussions, suggestions and reflections.

The walk will end with a tour of the Old Observatory.

We invite you to visit the Anatomical Museum together with a visit to the Hortus Botanicus.
The Anatomical Museum is only open to the public twice a year so this is a special opportunity. The Anatomical Museum is in walking distance from the venue. The Hortus Botanicus has a special exhibition on Plants & Planets.

This is a museum on the history of the automobile and has in its collection various electric cars from the early 1900's! We are also allowed to visit their international top collection of historic telescopes!
