As Gyöngyös is the gateway to the Mátra Hills, a tourist area, there are several hotels nearby the conference site.
Google Earth, Google Maps, and other GPS services work very well in Hungary and can be used to direct you to the conference site.
ISMD 2023 will be hosted in a Greek theatre-style conference building at the Károly Róbert Campus of MATE.
The address of the lectures is H-3200 Gyöngyös, Mátrai út 36, building B.
A big ISMD Monilo is now placed on the top of this building, it is visible from the campus as well as from the Mátrai street (Hungarian country road 24) that passes nearby.
The participants are kindly requested to book accommodation on their own, as a default.
We recommend two nearby hotels for the participants of ISMD 2023 and we will organize bus transportation in the morning before and in the evening, after the conference sessions are over, between the Campus and the following the recommended conference hotels:

Hotel Avar (**** superior) is located not too far from the conference site, connected with a scenic biking road, as well as good public transportation (more than 30 buses per day) and, if the renovation will be completed, by a popular mini-train, too. This elegant hotel offers a very significant, ~ 30 % discount as compared to its booking.com prices. Single accommodation costs 55 kHUF/person/night and double accommodation costs here 65 kHUF/night/(2 persons).
