Here you find some information how to reach your hotel and the conference site by public transport or by walking.
You stay at the Hotel Radisson Blu
Szczecin Główny railway station → Hotel Radisson Blu (plac Rodła 10)
Take tram no. 3 (direction: “Las Arkoński”, » timetable) from the stop “Dworzec Glówny” close to the main exit of the railway station and ride 4 stops up to “Plac Rodła”. The Hotel Radisson Blu is located on the right side of the skyscraper at Plac Rodła.
Hotel Radisson Blu → Conference site (ul. Szczerbcowa 4)
After exiting the hotel, turn left, walk eastwards, cross the park with trees until you reach Starzyńskiego street, turn left and walk a few meters along Starzyńskiego street until you reach Szczerbcowa street and the conference site.
You stay at the Hotel Focus
Szczecin Główny railway station → Hotel Focus (ul. Małopolska 23)
Take tram no. 6 (direction: “Gocław”, » timetable) from the stop “Dworzec Glówny” close to the main exit of the railway station and ride 3 stops up to “Bulwar Piastowski”. Please note that “Bulwar Piastowski” is a stop on request (“na żądanie”), so you have to press one of the stop buttons inside the tram. Cross the street (take care!) walking westwards and then continue northwards passing under one of the arms of the bridge until you can see the Hotel Focus.
Hotel Focus → Conference site (ul. Szczerbcowa 4)
After exiting the hotel, turn left, walk up Małopolska street, turn right to Jarowita street, walk up to the park and cross it diagonally until you reach Szczerbcowa street and the conference site.
You stay at the Hotel Campanile
Szczecin Główny railway station → Hotel Campanile (ul. Wyszyńskiego 30)
Take tram no. 6 (direction: “Gocław”, » timetable) from the stop “Dworzec Glówny” close to the main exit of the railway station and ride 2 stops up to “Wyszyńskiego”. (Instead of waiting for the tram, you can also walk for 10 min along the riverside towards north-east.) After reaching the stop “Wyszyńskiego”, walk westwards up the hill along the left side of Wyszyńskiego street. After about 300 m, you will reach the Hotel Campanile.
Hotel Campanile → Conference site (ul. Szczerbcowa 4)
After exiting the hotel, turn left and walk up the hill until you see the pedestrian bridge, walk across the bridge, pass the cathedral, then turn right, walk along Grodzka street for 100 m, turn left to Farna street, walk along Farna street until its end, cross the motorway, continue via Mazowieckiego street and Starzyńskiego street until you reach Szczerbcowa street and the conference site.
You stay at the Hotel Ibis or Novotel
Szczecin Główny railway station → Hotel Ibis or Novotel
Use the main exit of the railway station, turn left and walk 250 m until you reach a roundabout, turn left and walk up Dworcowa street along the Red Town Hall. After 400 m, you will reach the building that emcompasses both hotels.
Hotel Ibis or Novotel → Conference site (ul. Szczerbcowa 4)
Option 1 (tram): After exiting the hotel, walk northwards along 3 Maja street until you reach the tram stop “Brama Portowa”. Take tram no. 1 (direction: “Potulicka”) or 3 (direction: “Las Arkoński”) from the southern tram stop or tram no. 2 (direction: “Dworzec Niebuszewo”) from the eastern tram stop for 2 stops up to “Plac Rodła” (or “Filharmonia” if you take tram no. 1 ). Cross the street to your right, walk eastwards, cross the park with trees until you reach Starzyńskiego street, turn left and walk along Starzyńskiego street until you reach Szczerbcowa street and the conference site.
Option 2 (walking): After exiting the hotel, walk northwards along 3 Maja street and then along Aleja Niepodległości up to Plac Żołnierza Polskiego. Turn right and walk up to Matejki street, turn left, cross Matejki street, walk on Matejki street past the Philharmony, turn right to Zygmunta Starego street, walk up to Starzyńskiego street, turn left and walk until you reach Szczerbcowa street and the conference site.
You stay at the Willa West-Ende
Szczecin Główny railway station → Willa West-Ende (aleja Wojska Polskiego 65)
Option 1 (bus): Use the upper exit of the railway station by walking across the new pedestrian bridge (the one with escalators) and look for the bus stop “Owocowa Dworzec”. Take bus no. 87 (direction: “Podbórz”, » timetable) for 5 stops up to “Plac Szarych Szeregów”. Walk towards the roundabout and then counterclockwise around it until you see the green Willa.
Option 2 (tram): Use the upper exit of the railway station by walking across the new pedestrian bridge (the one with escalators), cross the street, walk up the stairs, walk along Plac Zawiszy until you reach 3 Maja street and turn right until you reach the tram stop “Plac Zawiszy”. Take tram no. 1 (direction: “Glębokie”, » timetable) for six stops up to “Plac Szarych Szeregów”. Walk around the roundabout counterclockwise until you see the green Willa.
Willa West-Ende → Conference site (ul. Szczerbcowa 4)
Walk to the tram stop “Plac Szarych Szeregów” and take any tram ( 1 direction: “Potulicka”; 5 direction: “Stocznia Szczecińska”; 11 direction: “Ludowa”; 12 direction: “Dworzec Niebuszewo”) from the southern stop for 2 stops up to “Plac Rodła”. Cross the intersection, walk eastwards, cross the park with trees until you reach Starzyńskiego street, turn left and walk along Starzyńskiego street until you reach Szczerbcowa street and the conference site.
You stay at the University Hotel
Szczecin Główny railway station → University Hotel (ul. Szwoleżerów 18)
Use the upper exit of the railway station by walking across the new pedestrian bridge (the one with escalators) and look for the bus stop “Owocowa Dworzec”. Take bus no. 61 (direction: “Podjuchy”, » timetable) for 7 stops up to “Szwoleżerów”. Please note that “Szwoleżerów” is a stop on request (“na żądanie”), so you have to press one of the stop buttons inside the bus. Walk down Szwoleżerów street for 50 m and you will see the University Hotel on the left side.
University Hotel → Conference site (ul. Szczerbcowa 4)
Walk to the tram stop “Szwoleżerów” and take tram no. 11 (direction: “Ludowa”, » timetable) or no. 12 (direction: “Dworzec Niebuszewo”, NOT “Zajedznia Pogodno”, » timetable) from the eastern stop for 6 stops up to “Plac Rodła”. Cross the intersection, walk eastwards, cross the park with trees until you reach Starzyńskiego street, turn left and walk along Starzyńskiego street until you reach Szczerbcowa street and the conference site.
Caution: Between 8 and 9 am, every second tram no. 12 goes to the depot “Zajezdnia Pogodno”. Do not take these trams! You would end up in a completely different part of the city. Take only the trams going to “Dworzec Niebuszewo” (or “Ludowa”).
