Conference fee
The conference fee is fixed to 435€ (student fee is 335€) from 1 August 2020.
Participants that will give talk per internet are also expected to pay the full conference fee.
The conference fee includes:
- Publication of the contributed papers
- Conference dinner
- Conference excursion
- Social events
- Bus transportation from and to Chania airport at the arrival and departure days (4 September and 12 September 2020). There will be no transport from Heraklion Airport, which is in 167 km from Kolymbari.
- Every day bus hotel-OAC-hotel
The conference fee amount is independent of the duration of stay of the delegate and therefore it is also independent of the participation in the conference dinner or the excursion.
For participants not staying in OAC:
There is an extra payment of 30 EUR per day, mainly for the use of OAC conference and partially for coffee breaks. It should not be paid for the days of arrival, departure and conference excursion. The lunch or dinner in OAC costs 15 EUR per meal per person.
The payment of 30 EU per day for facilities and coffee breaks is included in the price of the OAC room for those staying in OAC.
Therefore the overall price of the participation is the same for participants that find room in hotel with price less or equal than 60 EU per person, because adding the OAC fee of 30 EU and the OAC meals of 30 EU it comes up to 120 EU per person which is the price for single accommodation in OAC. It is very easy to find hotel in the price of up to 60 EU per person and even cheaper. Please see our webpage item on accommodation.

Excursion fee for excursion to Chania, 31 July 2020:
10 EU per person for everyone for the bus transport (also for children)
Main conference excursion:
For the main conference excursion of the 2 August 2020 the participants do not pay as it is included in the conference fee.
For accompanying persons:
Excursion fee for excursion 1 (Knossos and Museum of Heraklion), 2 August 2020 for accompanying persons:
More than 17: 45 Euros
More or equal than 5 and less or equal than 17 years old : 35 Euros
2-5 years old : 20 Euros
Excursion fee for excursions 2 and 3 (Monasteries and beach excursions), 2 August 2020 for accompanying persons:
Adults and children more than 5 years old: 40 Euros
2-5 years old: 20 Euros
Conference dinner fee for accompanying persons (not staying in OAC) : 30 Euro.
Conference dinner fee for accompanying persons (staying in OAC) : 15 Euro.
Transport:
Airport transport: Per trajectory from/to the airport for all accompanying persons who need a sit: 15 EU.
Financial support
The conference offers limited financial support mainly for young students as well as post doctoral researchers with up to 5 years scientific experience after their Thesis.
However interested persons (of all ages) can apply sending an email to the conference email with
- subject of email: "Request for financial support ICNFP 2020"
- a short application letter with what you need
- scan of your passport (with the birth date visible)
- a curriculum vitae, including the date of Thesis defence if any, and the age your PhD Thesis diploma (if any) (with the date visible)
- if you are student or post doc, please arrange for a letter of reference to be send to the conference email with subject "Reference Letter for (candidates name) ICNFP 2020".
