Location
BSHEPAT'24 will take place in the Hanseatic town of Kuldīga, situated in the historic region of Kurzeme (Courland), approximately 150km west of Riga, the capital city of Latvia. Kuldīga is a small town of approximately 13'000 inhabitants situated on the banks of river Venta, and is the home of Europe's widest waterfall, Ventas rumba.
Venue
The lectures, lunches and coffee breaks will take place in the main auditorium of the Kuldīga center high-school, located at Mucenieku street 6. The venue is situated at the centre of Kuldīga, approximately 5-10 minute walk from the hotel accommodation. Similarly, most restaurants and cafes are a short walking distance from both the venue and accommodation.
Accommodation
The accommodation for the students of this school will be arranged centrally by the local organisers for the duration of the school (Monday-Friday). For participants, the accommodation will be in shared rooms of two to three individuals.
