Excursion to Irbene Radio-telescope
There will be an organised excursion to the “Ventspils International Radio Astronomy Centre” on Tuesday, 6th of August. The trip will include a 2 hour guided tour of the facility.
School dinner
The school dinner will take place at the Bangert's restaurant, 1 Pils street, on the Wednesday evening.
Visit Kuldīga
The participants will be able to fully enjoy the wonderful location of Kuldiga city. Kuldiga is commonly known as the Nordic Venice and, due to the water that flows through it and its abundant historical architecture, it is included in UNESCO’s Latvian National Register. Popular places: Waterfall Ventas rumba, the widest waterfall in Europe; The Old Brick bridge; The historic centre of Kuldiga, a remarkably well-preserved with features of 16th to 18th century urban and architectural development.
