Registration & accommodation fees
This school is supported by COST Action CA22130 - "COMETA", therefore there are no registration fees for eligible participants.
Successful applicants will be required to pay an accommodation fee of 325 euros, which will cover the centrally organised accommodation, breakfasts and lunches for the duration of the school (Monday-Friday). The accommodation fee will be reclaimable in full after the event via the COST website as a part of the COST per diem allocation for this event of 80 Euros/day. In addition, eligible participants will be entitled to have their long-distance (>100km) travel expenses reimbursed by COST. NB! Short distance (<100km) local travel expenses are not eligible for separate reimbursement and are included in the 80 Eur/day per diem.
Eligibility for COST reimbursement
Doctoral students and early-careers researchers are eligible for the COST reimbursement of 80 Euros/day for a maximum of 6 days (number of days of the event +1) as well as the cover for their long-distance travel expenses.
In order to qualify for the per diem reimbursement, participants will be required to sign an attendance-sheet at the start of the first lecture of every day.
In order to claim the COST reimbursement, participants will have to create a COST profile, unless they already have one, on the COST website, and follow the instructions.
Master's students.
Master's students are welcome and encouraged to apply for this school, however, only those students whose thesis pertains directly to the topics of the Action are eligible for reimbursement from COST. Other, non-COST school grants may become available for other master's students interested in this event. Equally, self-funding or funding by the applicant's home institution would also be permissible.
Payment of the accommodation fee and travel arrangements
The applications will be evaluated in early June and the successful applicants will be informed.
The acceptance letter will outline the method of payment for the accommodation fee.
Please, refrain from making travel arrangements until the final confirmation about your acceptance for the participation in this event, as in cases, where travel is booked but your participation in the event is rejected, no reimbursement for the travel costs will be available.
NB! The final confirmation will be given to the successful candidates after the payment of the accommodation fee is confirmed.
