Monday 29 August 2016 Welcome Drink
The welcome drink will be held at Thessaloniki Town Hall, hosted by the Mayor of Thsessaloniki.
Tuesday 30 August 2016 Poster Session and Wine Tasting
The poster session will be held at 9th floor of Makedonia Palace, at the end of the parallel sessions. It has become a tradition, to have a wine tasting party associated with the poster session. Therefore, the conference participants are encouraged (but not obligated) to bring to the meeting a bottle of wine from their own country. People from non-wine producing countries are welcomed to bring another traditional beverage.
Wednesday 31 August 2016 Conference Excursion
The Conference Excursion will take place after the morning Plenary session. In Vergina, a small village with ruins of the first capital of Macedon you will visit the archeological site and Macedonian tombs (of King Philippos).
Thursday 1 September 2016 Conference Dinner
Conference Dinner will be held at Kyma Beach Bar (see map and website) at the beach.
We encourage participants to bring swimming suits and take a swim before the dinner!
