Description

Join us for the highly anticipated 1st Technical Workshop of the Next Generation Triggers Project!

From November 25th to 27th, 2024, we will be hosting a three-afternoon event at CERN, where we will introduce the groundbreaking work we're embarking on to revolutionize data analysis at the HL-LHC.

This event will showcase the core of the NextGen Project through four innovative Work Packages (WPs):

  • WP1: Infrastructure, Algorithms, and Theory
  • WP2: Enhancing the ATLAS Trigger and Data Acquisition
  • WP3: Rethinking the CMS Real-Time Data Processing
  • WP4: Education Programmes and Outreach

Sessions will be divided by WP, and each will feature presentations from the task leaders, offering a glimpse into the pioneering tasks and technologies that will drive our quest to unlock new physics discoveries. From cutting-edge neural networks to quantum-inspired algorithms and high-performance computing, you’ll hear firsthand how we plan to extract unprecedented insights from HL-LHC data!

The public is welcome to join in person to the three-day event by registering via Indico. A webcast link will also be available for everyone who wishes to follow the sessions remotely.

Don’t miss this chance to be part of something extraordinary. We can’t wait to kick off this journey with you!
