Description

The workshop aims to present a "vertical" view of hadronically decaying bosons at the LHC. In light of HL-LHC, we will discuss starting from the state-of-the-art theoretical predictions, tools for tagging heavy resonances, polarisation tagging, ML methods, and related subjects. We bridge the gap to the experimental side with sessions on timing-assisted reconstruction, pileup suppression techniques, and, in general, how we can facilitate probes of (multi) boson production with the new detector capabilities of ATLAS and CMS at the HL-LHC.The workshop is organized by members of the COMETA COST Action CA22130
