Description

The next ATLAS Distributed Computing Technical Interschange Meeting (TIM) workshop will be held in-person at Stony Brook University (SBU), NY from Tuesday 21 January 2025 afternoon until Thursday 23 January 2025 midday. We strongly encourage in-person participation. Remote participation will be provided via Zoom for the plenaries. Talks and discussions will be scheduled both in the morning and in the afternoon in the US Eastern timezone.

The main meeting will be in Physics room P118 on the ground floor of the Physics Building. The room P119, directly opposite is available for smaller meetings.

A reminder of the BNL, CERN and SBU Code of Conduct: "Be excellent to each other". All attendees must adhere to the CERN Code of Conduct.

The time and duration of each block is preliminary and subject to change depending on the number of questions and the time taken up by the discussion.

Dinner is at 19h on Wednesday at the Curry Club in Port Jeff. Everyone will pay their $70 themselves at the restaurant. If you have >2 drinks - those are extra!

Lunch on Wednesday is at 13.30 next door to Physics (pay your own)

You can park for free at the hotel. Otherwise - you can park in an Staff/Faculty lot IF you have a daily permit that Chris will have available every day at the meeting

Please contact Mario, Andreu, Shawn, Torre and Alexei to add topics for discussion to the agenda.

Please contact Leisa and Cecilia if you have questions related to administrative assistance.

The most convenient hotel is the Hilton Garden Inn, which is on Campus:
