Visit to the reactor site (MC-PAD researchers and others)

Those interested will be transported to the nuclear research reactor of Jožef Stefan Insitute at Podgorica near Ljubljana. A guided tour at the reactor site will last around 45 min. After that the transport will be orgainized to the JSI main site.

31 Stellar Structure and evolution

The seminar will present the information which can be obtained from the stellar spectra- temperature, density, state of the matter, chemical composition, and how the internal structure can be derived, which are the source of energy and how the continuous emission of radiation modifies the stellar structure. The mass is the parameter which affects the whole evolution of a star.

Visit to Škocjanske jame (caves) and conference dinner

The visit to Škocjanske caves. Around 1h bus drive from Ljubljana. Please wear warm clothes as the temperature in in the caves is around 8C. There will be guided tour in the caves. Please prepare for around 2 km "up and down" walk. After that the bus will take us to conference dinner site. Expect lots of wine and local food.
