Multi-Boson Interactions 2024

Europe/Zurich

Toulouse

Le Village - Espaces Événementiels, 31 allée Jules Guesde, 31000 Toulouse, France
Description

Multi-Boson Interactions (MBI) is an international conference series focusing on the frontiers of latest experimental results, state-of-art theory calculations and future prospects of physics with multi-boson final states (W, Z, gamma, Higgs, ...) at collider experiments. It aims to bring experimentalists and theorists together in order to discuss multi-boson interactions within the contexts of the gauge sector of the standard model and new physics.

MBI is coordinated by the MBI International Advisory Board (IAB) with the hosting venues rotating intercontinentally: 2014 (BNL), 2015 (DESY), 2016 (Wisconsin), 2017 (KIT, Karlsruhe), 2018 (Michigan), 2019 (Thessaloniki), 2020 (pandemic skip), 2021 (Milan), 2022 (Shanghai), 2023 (UC San Diego) and 2024 (Toulouse).

The workshop is plenary sessions only, with a mix of invited talks and submitted contributions.

I can reply here, can you read here?
14:31:02 From Joany Manjarres to Everyone:
            yes
14:33:36 From Matteo Presilla to Everyone:
For the material: the EFT part should be public in days on the arXiv. We don’t usually publish two PASses or updated version of the PAS in CMS, unfortunately. But it coming very soon :)
14:36:50 From Matteo Presilla to Everyone:
For the EFT fit: we did not have SMEFT FR model at that time but we used two different UFO models (one from SMEFTsim, and one from aQGC Eboli) and tried to look for correlation among different dimensions by stopping at some order in the EFT expansion and including both signals (dim-6 and dim-8) at the same time. Warsaw basis (of SMEFT) and dim-8 (from Eboli model) are by definition independent, so I am not sure what Joany meant with correlation btw the operators.
