Description

HaloWeek'24 - nuclei at and beyond the driplines will be held in 2024, June 10-14 (Monday-Friday), at Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg, Sweden. This workshop is focused on forefront experimental and theoretical developments in the physics of weakly-bound and unbound nuclei, and explorations of the drip lines and beyond.

Just like the previous workshop in Bergen, Norway, in 2022, we plan for 40-60 participants to meet and discuss the most recent progress and share future perspectives. Due to limited space capacity participation in this workshop is by invitation only.

The topics of the workshop will include:

  • The physics of Halo states
  • Experimental and theoretical progress in the physics of weakly-bound and unbound states in nuclei, atoms, and molecules.
  • Pure neutron systems
  • Reaction theory
  • Universal aspects and analogies
