Description
The contribution provides an overview of the Data Quality Control System (QC) of the ALICE Inner Tracking System (ITS2).
QC is a software developed during the ITS commissioning before the beginning of the LHC Run 3. It is used to validate
the detector performance and guarantee efficient data taking.
QC is capable of synchronous data flow monitoring at different levels: data integrity, data rate, hit rate (and fake-hit rate),
cluster and track reconstruction level, and even secondary vertex reconstruction for strange particles.
QC is run during online reconstruction, offline reconstruction passes as well as during Monte Carlo productions.
