New excursions available
A few new excursion tours have been made available on the registration website. These include:
- ELI (Extreme Light Infrastructure) Beamlines, Dolní Břežany
- Průša Research (production of 3D printers), Prague-Holešovice
- Van de Graaff accelerator, Czech Technical University, Troja campus, Prague
- VR-1 Vrabec, educational fission reactor, Troja campus, Prague
These excursions can be additionally booked after login in the registration page (log into your account at https://www.czech-in.org/cmportalV15/Portal/ICHEP24/normal, click Create/Manage Delegate Student Registration and click “Manage participant’s information”. You can then navigate through the Next and Back buttons to the Tours tab).
Deadline for childcare reservation soon
Childcare can also be booked on the registration page (another item accessible through “Manage participant’s information”, see above). This must be done by 5 June 2024. Information for those who may be interested:
- Childcare is available at the venue for 6 days during the conference (18 – 20 July and 22 July – 24 July 2024)
- Operating hours are from 8:30 am to 7 pm, with a lunch break based on the conference programme (last day of the conference from 8:30 am to 2 pm)
- Available for children between the ages of 1 to 12 years old
- Price per child: 6 500 CZK (including VAT)
- Food is not included in the price.
- The organiser reserves the right to cancel the childcare in case fewer than 10 children are registered. In case the minimum capacity is not filled, you will receive a full refund of the childcare fee.
- Reservation in advance is required.
