For the first time in the history of ICHEP, there is a parallel session dedicated to environmental sustainability, alongside the session dedicated to equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI). These sessions offer a crucial opportunity to reflect on the barriers to the wellbeing and success of members of our community, to assess the environmental impacts of our research, and to showcase the great work being done across our fields to address these important issues.
Environmental sustainability is inextricably linked with EDI considerations, and we are therefore excited to invite you to a joint EDI-sustainability discussion session, which will take place on Friday 19 July, 16:45 - 18:30. This will be structured around topics proposed by ICHEP participants via the form at this link: https://tinyurl.com/sustainEDI [tinyurl.com]. The aim is to share ideas and best practice, and to identify the positive steps that our field can take towards greater social responsibility. Everyone is welcome!
