Description
The CMS Collaboration is host to thousands of members from around the world, working together on a wide variety of research topics towards a better understanding of the fundamental processes that make up our universe. CMS is formed from over 250 institutes in 58 countries, as such bringing a wealth of diverse perspectives which enhance our science. The CMS Diversity and Inclusion Office has grown through efforts from Collaboration to improve the working environment of all members. Recently, the CMS D&I Office has engaged in the implementation of formal structural changes from demographic data collection and analysis, to advising decision-making bodies on equitable selection practices, to drafting recommendations for ensuring a safe and collaborative environment for all. This poster presents selected material from recent efforts of the CMS D&I Office.
