Description
Panellists: Fabiola Gianotti (CERN), Lia Merminga (Fermilab, USA), Yifang Wang (IHEP, China), Shoji Asai (KEK, Japan) and Dmitri Denisov (BNL, USA).
Particle physics, with its developed international cooperation and coordination can serve as a good example to other branches of science on building cooperation on a global scale. Lab directors will introduce their facilities and will discuss current activities and future plans in areas where Czech scientists participate in the experiments. A panel will then explore future directions and benefits of science with representatives from the Czech political and scientific communities.
