Description
The top quark mass is a fundamental parameter of the SM. Its precise determination allows a powerful consistency check of the theory. About ten years after the completion of Run 1, ATLAS and CMS published the final combination of fifteen measurements at 7 and 8 TeV based on various final states and complementary techniques. In this talk, details of the combination, the systematic model, and the correlation of systematic uncertainties will be discussed and an outlook for future improvements will be given.
