Description
Within the framework of the Standard Model, the Higgs sector is minimally composed of one doublet of complex scalar fields, essential for achieving spontaneous electroweak symmetry breaking. Nevertheless, a myriad of advanced theories transcending the Standard Model envision more intricate Higgs sectors, leading to the prediction of charged Higgs bosons. Notably, the Georgi- Machacek(GM) model postulates the production of charged Higgs bosons through the distinct Vector Boson Fusion topology, marking a unique signature for charged Higgs searches. In light of this, the ATLAS experiment has rigorously pursued the search for these charged Higgs bosons. In this presentation, a summary of the latest experimental results obtained in searches for both singly- and doubly-charged Higgs bosons, as well as the combination results within the GM model are presented and discussed.
