Description

This Humboldt Kolleg focuses on key issues in particle, gravity and quantum physics: how they complement each other and connections with the large scale cosmology structure of the Universe. The opportunities offered by new quantum technologies for particle physics and gravitation will be explored. The meeting is designed to promote synergies and new collaboration between the different sub-fields.

The Humboldt Kolleg brings together Humboldt "family" (prize winners, professors and research fellow alumni) together with younger researchers (prospective future research fellows) and other senior scientists. The Kolleg will emphasize and promote communication and new collaborations between participants. A main purpose of the meeting is to promote awareness of the Humboldt Foundation to young researchers in the central European region.

Participation is by invitation.
