R2E annual meeting - 2018
The R2E annual meeting has been organized with the main purpose of providing an overview of the various activities in the different project work-packages, as well as to foster information exchange.
The first day will be dedicated to the various work-packages, presented by the different work-package leaders. A summary and overview of the progress achieved over the last year will be given. In addition, the outlook and future prospects will be discussed.
The Work Package list is the following:
- Operation
- Project Management
- RADWG support
- MCWG support
- Material testing and external facilities
- Injector Chain and Experimental Areas
- Infrastructure
- CERN facilities
- RadMON Monitoring
- Optical Fibre Dosimetry
- Shielding and Relocation
- Radiation tolerant developments
- Common Building Blocks
- Vacuum
- Beam Instrumentation
- QPS
- Power Converters
- Cryogenics
- Controls
The second day will be dedicated to the students and fellows that contribute with their work to the overall R2E activities and achievements. They will present the progress of their work and give a more technical and scientific insight into the individual topics.
