The EuroCirCol gender equality task force was launched in 2015 with the objective to foster gender balance in the consortium. It is also aimed to serve as a pilot for the whole FCC Collaboration. Three of the EuroCirCol institutes have built first proposals for action to ensure equal opportunities for the members of the project and in particular that women are recruited and can grow in their careers through their participation in the project.
The working group session will introduce the participants to these proposals which can overall be categorized into: data monitoring, awareness-raising on gender balance issues and exchange of practices between the task force members. The working group will also engage the participants in a discussion on the optimal modus operandi to embed gender equality and more generally diversity issues in a large collaboration like FCC.
